Following the intimate grief of 2024’s "Country Sleight of Hand", we are proud to welcome St. Yuma (Stevan Alva) to the Full Time Hobby roster.

Blending folk, lounge, and experimental pop, St. Yuma plays his compositions like a dream-laced stage show—part confession, part hallucination.

Pianos drift through underwater scenes, and every track feels like eavesdropping on someone else's dream only to recognize yourself inside it.

St. Yuma doesn’t ask for understanding, he invites you to sit with him, to feel weird, to feel deeply. His music is like an AA meeting for melancholics, where blueberry pie and smooth cigarettes stand in for the soft ache we keep returning to.

"Alone The Walrus", St Yuma's first single with Full Time Hobby, is a perfect example of this deeply ponderous sound world.

According to Stevan, the song's subject 'is a walrus learning to make peace with his own reflection. Standing at the edge of the sea, he catches a glimpse of himself in the water and quietly realizes, "I never really noticed you’re blue all the time."

Though surrounded by clouds of doubt and melancholy, he refuses to surrender hope. His journey is one of quiet acceptance—the belief that even the loneliest tides  can still carry you somewhere beautiful. '
