Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted and shipped within the UK, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. We do not cover return costs for international EU shipments triggered by a contract withdrawal request.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Right of Withdrawal (European Union Customers)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, for any reason and without justification, in addition to the return rights described elsewhere in this policy.

Withdrawal period. You have 14 days from the day you (or a third party you've nominated, other than the carrier) receive the goods to notify us of your decision to withdraw. If your order consists of multiple goods delivered separately, the 14 days run from receipt of the last item.

How to withdraw. You can notify us of your withdrawal using the EU withdrawal button available at the bottom of every page on our website, or by emailing us at dan@fulltimehobby.co.uk with a clear statement of your decision to withdraw. You do not need to give a reason. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your withdrawal notice before the 14-day period expires.

Returning the goods. Once you've notified us, you must send the goods back to us without undue delay, and in any event no later than 14 days after the day you informed us of your withdrawal. The item must be unused, unworn, with tags attached, and in its original packaging where possible, along with proof of purchase.

Return shipping costs. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods to us. We do not cover or reimburse return shipping costs for EU withdrawals. You are being informed of this prior to completing your purchase, as required for this cost to apply to you.

Refunds. We will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery charges, within 14 days of the day we receive the returned goods back, or, if earlier, the day you provide evidence that you have sent the goods back. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied such evidence, whichever is earlier. Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise.

Condition of returned goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. We reserve the right to reduce your refund accordingly if goods show signs of use beyond this.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal does not apply to: goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised; goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, where the seal has been broken after delivery; and sealed audio, video, or computer software which has been unsealed after delivery.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
